Traffic Guidelines in Different Languages

The Ministry enjoins motorists to observe traffic laws and regulations, as part of the “Accident-Free Summer” campaign. Advisories regarding the proper use of yellow box intersection, avoiding the use of cellular phones while driving, and wearing of seatbelts while driving have been released, and are also written in different languages such as Filipino, Bengali, Nepali, and Tamil.

The advisory regarding the proper use of yellow box in the intersection has been translated in Filipino. Here is the message, according to MOI:

The next phase of the traffic awareness campaign is reminding motorists not to use their cellular phones while driving. Doing so causes drivers to be distracted and lose their concentration while on the road. The current phase in the campaign is advocating the use of seat belts while driving, as it protects drivers and passengers in case of accidents while on the vehicle.
