Qatar Rejects Obstruction of Foreign Policies

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that Qatar will remain independent regarding their foreign policies. This is also the first time that the country has seen such hostility with their neighbouring nations.

While Qatar is waiting for the other countries to state their demands, the military condition remains the same. There were no additional Qatari armies deployed. And while Turkish troops will be sent to Qatar, they are for the security of the whole region, he said. They also do not expect any changes in the set-up of the US base located in the country.

HE the Foreign Minister also stressed that Qatar will continue to uphold its Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) agreements with the UAE. He also relayed that Iran is willing to provide the country with food and other supplies through three of its ports.
