The Pyramids of Giza are a popular tourist destination. Previous tourists recommend visiting the pyramids at night when they are illuminated by the lights. The pyramids become the center of attraction in the dark desert.

Apart from the pyramids, there are other interesting sites in Egypt. Luxor is also home to other ancient temples and the Nile River. The Avenue of Sphinxes is located here. The Valley of the Kings is a historic structure where pharaohs were buried. The Valley of the Queens is where the pharaoh’s wives are laid to rest.

Hurghada is another favorite destination, known for its beautiful beaches and diving spots. It’s situated by the Red Sea, so make sure to check if the beach is open on the day you plan to visit.

Plan your trips efficiently to avoid wasting time while traveling. Knowing the available transportation options will help you avoid unnecessary expenses. Missing your ride could also leave you stranded, so be mindful of the schedules.

Travel Hacks – Immersing in Local Culture

To save money on dining out in Egypt, try asking for the Egyptian menu at local restaurants. Tourists have found that prices for foreigners are often inflated on menus, and choosing an Arabic menu may be more affordable. Even if the characters are unfamiliar, living in Qatar may have given you some recognition. Refreshing your knowledge of basic Arabic terms can help you understand the menu and enhance your overall experience. Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in local culture and cuisine.

It would also help to look up what kind of weather you will expect when you visit. You also want to dress accordingly, especially if you are going to visit mosques and temples. Fortunately, the dress code in Egypt and Qatar is similar, so you would not have any problems adjusting.

Safety Tips

Before your trip, you can also check for any advisories from Qatar or Egypt regarding political or social unrest. You can find this information on the embassy websites of both countries..

If you come across protests or demonstrations during your tour. it is advised that you move away from such activities. The police may resort to various crowd control measures, and you don’t want to get caught up in any commotion.

You need not worry because tourist spots in Egypt are generally safe to visit, especially the Nile River and Cairo. If you are traveling with tour guides or security officials, be sure to coordinate with them if you notice any suspicious individuals around.

As with most places, it is important to be aware of your surroundings. Take care of your valuables and passport to avoid losing them to pickpockets. Female travelers, in particular, should be cautious and alert when traveling at night.
