The Personal Loan for Expats provides financing of up to QAR 1 million for expats working in government and semi-government organizations, and QAR 397,500 for those working in other companies. The repayment period can be up to 48 months.

To avail of this loan, expats need to have a minimum salary of QAR 5,000 per month. Salary transfer is required, although collateral and guarantors are not necessary. The loan is given at a flat rate of 3.33%, or a reducing rate of 6.00%.

The great thing about this loan is that it involves simple documentation and fast processing. What’s more, it comes with a complimentary Easy Saver Account, a complimentary Basic Current Account, plus a complimentary cheque book and debit card.

Mashreq Bank Majestic Personal Loan for Expats

Another loan product offered by Mashreq Bank is the Majestic Personal Loan for Expats. It offers financing of up to QAR 1 million for those working in the government sector, and up to QAR 400,000 for those in the private sector.

To be eligible for this loan, expats should have a minimum salary of QAR 5,000 per month. Salary transfer is required, and the maximum repayment term is 4 years. The loan is given at a flat rate of 3.20%, or a reducing rate of 5.99%

Mashreq Bank’s Majestic Personal Loan for Expats comes with several benefits: a Platinum Elite Card with gift vouchers worth QAR 5,000, cash advance facility, free automobile assistance, etc. Borrowers would also enjoy free online remittances and cash withdrawals. The product also comes with Salaam Reward points, which enables customers to shop for free at Homes R Us, Joyalukkas, Sharaf DG, StarLinks, and other retail partners.
