Every parent dreams of giving their children an education. This is one of the reasons why they work hard, especially in foreign soil. If you are given the opportunity to bring your family with you to Qatar, then one of your concerns would be where your children will go to school.
As the new school year is about to open, this post will help you decide which school to enrol your children. There are two schools classified as Philippine Schools Overseas (or PSO) in Qatar. These PSOs, according to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas, are “duly registered educational institutions operating outside the Philippines and implementing the basic education curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd).”

Another factor in choosing schools is the proximity from home. Some parents would choose the one nearby so the children will not be affected by traffic. Or they will move their home near the chosen school.
Bear in mind also that some schools have waiting list for new students. Better ask the school beforehand of their available slots. It would also help to prepare the necessary documents like passport, Qatar residence ID, etc.
So these are the schools in Qatar that offer the Philippine curriculum. In case we missed any other schools, do let us know and we’ll update this list!
