Al Jazeera Academy (Doha)
A Doha based school that imparts education based on the British curriculum, Al Jazeera Academy is a purpose-built international school with impeccable education facilities for your children. Providing education from preschool to year 13, it has a total of 73 primary and secondary classrooms, which are built according to the international standards.
Fully equipped with the best laboratories and research tools, the school has it’s high school curriculum being accredited by International Baccalaureate Organization.
American School Of Doha (Doha)
One of the prime education institutions in Qatar, American School of Doha offers education from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. Based on the American school system, the curriculum offered by the school is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (The US).
Presently, it caters to the needs of students from over 79 countries, with pass outs from the school making it to good universities and securing top notch jobs in Qatar. The school has majority of its teaching staff coming from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and the Middle East.
Cost of education for sending your children here would vary from QR 32,857 (pre-kindergarten) to QR 71,255 (grade 9-12). An amount of QR 500 is also charged during the application process, at any level.
Awsaj Academy (Al-Rayyan)
A school established and based in the city of Al-Rayyan, Awsaj Academy serves students from grade 1-12. With the teaching staff of the school coming from over 19 countries, more than 38% of the teachers here have a master’s degree or higher and are recruited from all across the globe.
The school is accredited through the US Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools since 2013. However, the curriculum here is based on local and international standards, also with a multitude of instruction programs to improve help the students with their academics.
The annual fee charged by Awsaj Academy includes an amount of QR 52,094 for KG-grade 6 and QR 68,011 thereafter. Here also you’ll be required to register with an application fee of QR 500.
Compass International School (Madinat Khalifa)
It is one of the top schools by conglomerate Nord Anglia Education, with other two being in Doha and Gharaffa. Established back in 2010, the school caters to the needs of students from more than 60 nationalities.
It moves forth with an approach to implement various curriculums at different levels of learning. International Primary Curriculum is followed during the primary years, which is followed by the English National Curriculum and IGCSE during the lower and upper secondary years. Special stress is laid on English and Mathematics for the students to easily further their education for IB Diploma, a course highly valued by universities around the world.
Cost of sending your kid here would be somewhere around QR 62,117 during the primary years and QR 68,342 during the secondary years. An additional book fee of around QR 3,866 is also charged annually. However, at the time of application an amount of QR 578 is mandatory to be paid.
Sherborne School (Doha)
Developed by the renowned British School, Sherborne School in Doha imparts education based on the British Curriculum from pre-kindergarten to year 13. It is accredited by the Department of Education as a British School Overseas (BSO). The academic programs provided are complemented by extra-curricular activities like drama, music, sports and art as well.
The annual tuition fee herein too changes with the level of education. It ranges from QR 35,000 per academic year during pre-school to QR 66,053 during year 11 to 13.
