Passengers of Qatar Airways bound for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), UAE, Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain are given notice that their flights will be cancelled until further notice. Flights have been cancelled since June 5, 2017 in line with a recent statement where these countries have cut their diplomatic ties with Qatar.
The airline will provide assistance to those who will be affected with the flight cancellation to these four countries. This refers to confirmed ticket holders from June 5 to July 6, 2017.
Flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Kingdom of Bahrain are cancelled
Qatar Airways has cancelled its flight to the KSA since June 5, 2017, while flights to the UAE, Egypt and Kingdom of Bahrain have been cancelled as of June 6, 2017. To assist the affected passengers, the airline is providing the following services free of charge:
- Rebooking of flight 30 days after their supposed flight, for one time only
- Refunding of the unused portion of their ticket, but service fee is non-refundable
Meanwhile, the airline also announced that it will organize three charter flights for passengers coming from the KSA. The route will be via Muscat (in Oman) to Doha. For updates regarding the cancelled flights, please visit the Qatar Airways website.
