A new case the new coronavirus (COVID-19) was announced by the Qatar Ministry of Public Health. The new case comes from a Qatari national who was evacuated from Iran via private plane last February 27. The patients has been admitted and placed under isolation and is currently in stable condition.

As of March 3, 2020, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Qatar have risen to 9.

MOPH Reports New Case of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)
The Ministry of Public Health will continue to monitor those who have been in quarantine for any symptoms and will continue to take all necessary measures to limit the spread of the virus.
The Ministry has also set up a dedicated, round-the-clock call center to answer all questions and inquiries related to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). The hotline number is 16000 and is toll-free.
