439 Total COVID-19 Cases in Qatar

There’s now a total of 439 cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Qatar. These news cases were announced by the Ministry of Public Health and most of them are related to migrated workers while 3 cases have been registered for Qatari citizens. These patients are now receiving medical care.

The outbreak which has affected more than 150,000 cases worldwide, has been labelled as a Pandemic by the World Health Organization.

  • Recovery Cases: 4

Here is the statement announcement made by MOPH:

The Ministry of Public Health today announced the registration of 38 new confirmed cases of coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) in the State of Qatar​
Most of the new registered cases are related to migrant workers that were under quarantine. Also 3 cases have been registered for Qatari citizens returning from travel and from several countries which are the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Spain, and the Swiss Confederation. The infected cases have been entered to complete sanitary isolation, they are in good health and receiving the necessary medical care. The competent authorities in the Ministry of Public Health continue to conduct the necessary checks for everyone who has been in contact with confirmed cases.​
