Going to mall is one way for us to relieve stress. What could be more fun than shopping and buying things that will chase our stress away? However, shopping is a very costly leisure activity, as it requires money to be enjoyed. Well, you don’t have to worry right now as the Mall of Qatar offers various events and shows just in time for this upcoming Eid holiday.
As the Eid Al Adha holiday begins on August 19, 2018, the Mall of Qatar, the first super-regional mall of the country, will be holding a series of events during the Eid holidays to attract visitors, as reported by the Qatar Tribune.

Mall of Qatar Offers Free Shows on Eid Al Adha Holidays
The Mall of Qatar will hold events during Eid Al Adha holidays, which will begin on August 19, Mall of Qatar Chief Executive Officer Stuart Elder announced at an event covered by the Qatar Tribune.
According to Elder, these events have been especially planned, in order to attract both Qatari residents and foreigners to the mall during the upcoming Eid holidays.
The mall events that will serve as the mall’s attractions for the upcoming Eid holidays will be as follows: Four shows of SpongeBob SquarePants every day; Spirit the Horse show display throughout the vacation period; Al Rayan TV shows; QTA Shopping Festival; and a back-to-school activity by the Ministry of Education.
The main purpose of these events, as stated by Elder, is to give people lots of reasons to go and visit the mall. These events will make the Mall of Qatar an exciting place for the visitors.

Mall of Qatar: Striving to be a Qatar Tourist Destination
After the FIFA World Cup in Russia, more people are expected to travel to Qatar this summer to see the next host country of the World Cup. Elder gave credit to the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) for promoting the brand of Qatar throughout the FIFA World Cup in Russia. “We want to capitalize on this brand image of Qatar,” he added.
The Mall of Qatar has built relationships with the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Qatar Airways to promote the mall as one of the main destinations for tourists in Qatar. Elder believes that adding relationships with such governmental agencies is an instrument in promoting the mall among the visitors, based on the exceptional growth in Cruise Tourism in the recent past due to their ties with the same agencies. Currently, the Mall of Qatar has a fantastic loyal customer base, wherein 90% are Qatari residents. Elder said that they want more foreigners to come to the mall.
Following the huge success and enthusiasm brought by the Bollywood show in Mall of Qatar way back in April, the mall has recently brought the rich, colourful vibrant culture of India to its Ooredoo stage with the Indian Beats Show, an exclusive production combining music, dance, costumes and props, showcasing authentic Punjabi and Lezim Folk Dance performed by 20 professional artists. The show has already started last August 6 with daily shows at 12:30 PM, 5:30PM and 8:00 PM, and will continue until August 18.

“At Mall of Qatar, we consistently strive to deliver amazing, exciting, and free entertainment to thrill our customers. We love being able to bring international acts to Qatar, and we know that our customers will enjoy the colour and vibrancy of the Indian Beats Show,” Elder said.
