You can pay for your purchases at sites using Masterpass. For in-store transactions, you can pay through NFC technology enabled POS terminals. The limit of your purchase will depend on the available fund in your credit or debit card.
To register, simply login to the CBQ Mobile App. Go to “Services” and select “Enroll to CB Pay.” Provide the necessary information and follow the prompts to be able to register successfully.
- mPay is a payment method from Qatar Islamic Bank. Clients of QIB can use this app, by linking to their mobile phones. mPay is a secure app that allows you to pay through cashless and cardless transactions. Aside from this, you can transfer funds from your account to your mobile wallets or to other registered mobile wallets.
Future plans for mPay include improved means to pay merchants or pay bills or withdraw cash from the ATM to transfer to the digital wallet. This app can be downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- CWallet is provided by a start-up company. You can use this app for in the following transactions: pay at eCommerce sites, pay bills, transfer money to other CWallet accounts or through remittance centers, and top up Vodafone and Ooredoo mobile credits. You can also set the app in your native language.
Developers of this app aim to help the unbanked sector, and other blue-collar workers to have access to financial services. This app can be downloaded through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
