With all the newest play areas available in Qatar, children will never run out of activities to keep them occupied. These entertainment areas cater to children of all ages. Let’s discover what these places have to offer:
Doha Modern Playground
In this public park, the children can explore play objects and bench designs that resemble iconic Qatari buildings from the early years. If you have never had the time to visit the Central Post Office, Qatar University, or even the National Theatre Complex, you will get the chance to see a similar design at the playground.
The children will also be able to enjoy slides, swings, and tunnels. While the park is open to all age groups, those between 4 and 12 years old would enjoy the place better.
Doha Modern Playground is on Corniche Street. Admission is free.
Total Energies Playground
If you want to bring the children to have fun and still learn about science, then you could bring them to this park. The park layout contains different pods with interactive elements where children can learn about science and technology.
The park caters to the children’s adventurous spirit, with the slides, ladders, tunnels, and bridges available. They can also choose which adventure to take by choosing the pod they want to enter. This park is best suited for kids 4 to 12 years old.
TotalEnergies Playground is in the National Museum of Qatar. Admission to the park is free. When you take your kids to visit, you might want to bring a change of clothes since there is a water play area.
Beach Centrale
For water adventures, this play area has everything you need. It is an outdoor play area that lets the children enjoy themselves and have fun in the sand. The pool water is also climate-controlled, so you can enjoy it anytime of the year.
This water park boasts real sand on the artificial beach. There are also multiple slides for a complete water park experience. Some of the facilities you can use are the lounger chairs. lockers, and changing rooms. Your little ones won’t go hungry because there are food and beverage kiosks available.
Beach Centrale is on Pearl Island. It is open to all age groups. Guests can enjoy the water park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entrance fee for Pearl Island residents is QR 50, while the fee for other visitors is QR 100.
CoComelon Town
The CoComelon character is popular among children; it is no wonder that there is a theme park dedicated to it. If your little ones are big fans, you can bring them over to Lusail Winter Wonderland to see CoComelon Town.
The indoor park features the favorite characters from CoComelon, and children can enjoy the interactive elements. It has five rooms that are filled with activities that allow hands-on play and role-playing.
CoComelon Town is open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. during the weekdays. On weekends, guests are welcome from 4 PM to 1 AM. The ticket price is QR 125 per person.
With all these new entertainment areas, a weekend is not enough to explore them all.
