Tourist Guide to Qatar’s New Metro Lines

1. Museum of Islamic Art

If your train is coming from Ras Bu Abboud or Aziziyah, then you can stop at the National Museum Station and from there the Museum of Islamic Art is just 15 minutes away (walking distance).

2. National Museum of Qatar

The National Museum of Qatar is basically just beside the National Museum Station, which is the same stop mentioned in the first entry. Once you reach that station, the destination is a minute’s walk away. If you’re coming from Al Wakra or the Lusail-QNB direction, or the Al Mansoura Station, you have to drop off the Msheireb Interchange and ride the gold line, which heads towards the Ras Bu Abboud.

3. Qatar National Library

From the green line, you can just get off at the Qatar National Library Station and just walk for a minute to reach the Qatar National Library. If you’re from the red line or the gold line, stop at the Al Bidda or Msheireb interchange, and transfer to the green line to go to Al Riffa to reach the Qatar National Library Station.

4. Arab Museum of Modern Art

The Arab Museum of Modern Art is located at the Education City Student Center in Doha. To get there directly, you must be in the Green Line and go all the way to its last stop, which takes you directly to this museum. If you’re in the Red Line, you should stop at the exchanges mentioned above (Al Bidda and Msheireb). The same should be done if you’re coming from the Gold Line (Al Aziziya or Ras Bu Abboud side).

5. Qatar National Theater

You need to be on the red line to go to the Qatar National Theater. From the Red Line, get off the Corniche Station. From there, the Qatar National Theater is a walking distance away. For the Gold and Green Line, you have to stop at the Msheireb Interchange and transfer to the Red Line.

In summary, the metro lines in Qatar make going to these museums much easier. Now, you can visit these tourist spots with less hassle!
