On the other hand, there were some who buy a house so they can have it rented as a source of income. So it is important that they choose the right location for their house.
Location is Important
There are many factors to consider when looking for a house. Some choose to buy a place where they used to live in the Philippines. On the other hand, they might choose another location where they want to start a rental business. In terms of location, some may want to buy a house near the seaside. And then there are some who prefer a home in the countryside.
An article in Pilipino Star Ngayon discuses the many possible locations when buying a house in the Philippines. Here are some of the ideas:
Laguna
This is a good place to buy a house for residence or for rental. It is also near the South Luzon Expressway making it convenient for travelling. Laguna is also a gateway to Batangas, a vacation destination to most. There are many subdivision lots in Laguna where they can choose their property. Finally, if there are school children, Launa is a good consideration because there are many good schools and university in the area. Some of these institutions are UP Los Banos, Miriam College, University of Perpetual Help, and Brent International School.
Bulacan
What makes Bulacan a good location is its proximity to Metro Manila. There also plenty of subdivision there. Another positive point is its accessibility to the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). If you are a commuter, you can take the MRT-Line 7, when construction is finished.
Pampanga
Pampanga will make a good location for a future home. There is the Clark International Airport for when you need to travel. You can also take the NLEX or the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway. There is an upcoming project called North-South Commuter Railway which will help ease travel in and out of Pampanga. You can choose properties in Angeles, Porac, and San Fernando.
Mandaluyong
Located in Metro Manila, this place is perfect for those looking condominium units. This city is home to several residential, retail, and commercial zones located in Ortigas. And near Mandaluyong are Makati, Taguig, and Quezon City. Those living in Mandaluyong will be near their workplace.
Cebu
Outside Luzon, Cebu makes another location for a future home. Those who have been to Cebu attest to it being similar to Makati and Tagaytay. This city has skyscraper, business parks, and numerous restaurants. Another plus point in living in Cebu is the Mactan International Airport. it is also near holiday destinations, like Bohol. Those with school age children will have plenty of schools to choose from, like UP Cebu, University of San Carlos and University of Cebu. Most importantly, Cebu is rich in culture.
