There is a new restaurant in Doha where you can go to satisfy your craving for Filipino food. Head on over to Rosita’s Karinderya and Panaderya to enjoy the meals you used to have back home.

The restaurant boasts authentic Filipino dishes, especially Kapampangan cuisine. You can also order bread, cakes, and other Filipino delicacies.

You can order from their all-day breakfast, appetizer, chicken, vegetable, seafood, rice, and noodles meal choices. The prices are affordable, too.

Imagine how convenient it is to get silog meals such as bangsilog and tapsilog any time of the day. Moreover, calamares and shanghai are only one order away.

If you are feeling quite fancy, why not try the signature dish of roasted or fried itik? For dessert, you can choose from the numerous kakanin, sweets, and fruit drinks.

For group meals, you can choose from the Kabayan Meals. All the meals consist of 2 ulam (or viand), rice, and drinks. Prices range from QR 60 to QR 250.

The restaurant offers buffet meals from 12 noon to 7 PM. The plate is QR 39. Or you can also avail of the Merienda Combo of either palabok, spaghetti, and pancit with drinks and kakanin. Prices range from QR 20 to QR 22.

Rosita’s Karinderya and Panaderya also offer catering and bilao meals to go. For impromptu get-togethers, you can have these meals delivered to your place.

Diners gave positive reviews about the vegetable fried rice. Some of the favorite dishes are crispy sisig, Arroz caldo, tocilog, and crispy pata.

How to Get There

The restaurant is located in Matar Qadeem, Old Airport. It is opposite Doha Bank. Parking may be a bit difficult due to limited space.

Mater Qadeem is also home to other food establishments and commercial areas. It is filled with restaurants, a salon, a car wash, and supermarkets. The various restaurants cater to different nationalities, including Philippine cuisine. The whole street is about 2 kilometers long. If you have your car, you can traverse the road in less than 5 minutes. You can also get a taxi after your visit.
